How the formula works
kWh = (Watts × Hours) ÷ 1000 | Cost = kWh × Rate | Total = Σ(Appliance Costs)
- Energy (kWh) = (Power in Watts × Hours Used) ÷ 1000
- Daily Consumption = Sum of all appliance kWh per day
- Monthly Consumption = Daily Consumption × 30 (or 90 for quarterly)
- Cost = kWh × Electricity Rate
- Total Bill = Sum of all appliance costs for the billing period
