How the formula works
Tiles = Room Area ÷ Tile Area × (1 + Waste Factor) | Cost = Tiles × Price + Installation
- Room Area = Length × Width (in square meters)
- Tile Area = Tile Length × Tile Width (in square meters)
- Tiles Required = Room Area ÷ Tile Area
- Waste Factor = Additional tiles for cuts (typically 5-15%)
- Total Tiles = Tiles Required × (1 + Waste Factor ÷ 100)
